Modelling through animation and simulation is where ICT can have enormous impact and teaching benefit. Even with the best available tools and good technique, it is difficult for students to see the desired processes much less understand the concepts and interdependencies. Australian schools should check Scootle or NDRL, for an increasing range of resources including animations and simulations.
